Biology, genes and life experience as well as other things make you who you are, we all need to feel included and valued regardless. Explore how different factors can impact and things we can do to support a balanced mental well-being.
Gain an understanding of what resilience is, explore and understand the effects of the past on our well-being and our ability to bounce back, why resilience is important and look at techniques to help increase our personal resilience.
Explore the importance of taking care of our emotional well-being, the impact of how we think, feel and act and how things can change. Lots of tips and advise to support young people to be healthy.
Explore what well-being means to you and what happens in our brain to help us feel happy and healthy. Discovering where you feel your well-being is currently and practical ways to improve it.
Understanding the benefits and importance of sleep, looking at what can cause poor sleep. Considering the impact that sleeping has on physical and mental well-being and how we can improve our sleep routine.
Understanding and recognising our negative thinking patterns and how these influence how we feel and behave. Exploring how we can use techniques to think of things differently and impact positively on our well-being.
